This is the remastered version of the CD with bonus material and is the latest CD by Steve entitled "Camera Obscura". With styles ranging from Hard Rock to Blues, Progressive and beyond, this is Steve's most diverse album to date. With 11 new tracks and one cover, fueled by the powerful rhythm section of world-class drummer Karen Teperberg and long time musical collaborator Desha Dunnahoe, Steve's music is in full stride. Desha has returned to her first love, the bass guitar, but still treats us to some superb keyboard playing. Another new addition to the band is keyboardist Steve Mattern who makes an immediate impact on “The Door Stays Open” dedicated to Pete Bardens, Steve's long-time friend and ex-bandmate who passed away in Feb 2002. A guest appearance by virtuoso guitarist Philippe Thibaut creates a veritable guitar duel that will be a classic for years to come on "Diminished Capacity" and flautist Mary Dagani creates a liquid solo of immense beauty on the Steve Hackett classic “Jacuzzi". Re-Issue of this already critically acclaimed CD was released on 03/31/2005 and includes the exciting bonus track "Wah Happened" as well as complete remastering by Steve Adams.Prepare to be amazed!

Maiden Voyage
Steve Adams
March 31, 2005
This is the new Re-Issue Version of the CD - remastered with bonus material. To quote Steve's own words: "Maiden Voyage is the first in a series of solo projects. It is not a “concept” album or a theme based work. It is a collection of songs that I felt needed to be recorded to document some of my experiences during the past few years. While touring Europe with Pete Bardens, I became inspired by places that were new to me, and by the opportunity to perform with players who I respected so much, like my friend Andy Ward ( England’s finest!). That is why you will find a variety of moods and styles on this CD."
Now with a bonus track called "Endless" as well as new sleeve notes and complete remastering, the first CD is now better than ever.

Live Germany 1996
Pete Bardens Mirage
February 1, 1997
Pete Bardens Mirage was formed in the summer of 1995 and consisted of Dave Cohen on Drums, Steve Adams on Guitars & vocals, Desha Dunnahoe on Bass, Vocals and Flute and Pete Bardens on Keyboards & Vocals. Here are highlights from their appearance at THE STAR CLUB, Oberhausen, Germany, in March 1996.
"It was a freezing cold night, but the band soon heated things up with a spirited performance. They paid their respects to Camel (Pete being a long-time and founding member). This selection includes music from the Snowgoose, Raindances, and Moonmadness, albeit with a new twist. There are also some of the best songs from Pete’s solo CDs: Seen One Earth, Speed of Light and Watercolors. The show was appreciated by a warm and enthusiastic audience, giving the band a good time, so sit back and enjoy some of the magic of that night from one of the first live ventures of Pete Bardens Mirage."

Sticking Around
Andy Ward
December 1, 2003
Steve struck up a lasting friendship with Andy Ward (Camel, Marillion, Bevis Frond, Caravan of Dreams etc) when coming to England to play with Mirage in 1994 with Pete Bardens. Since then Andy has contributed his drumming to Steve's music. Here on this compilation of Andy's music from the Post Camel years you can hear the Magnum Opus of Steve's Progressive writing - " Maiden Voyage " which is particularly well suited to Andy Wards playing style.
